Xiutla Folkloric Dance Performance                                                                
                                                                                                        
       Folkloric ballet originated in Spain but has enjoyed resurgence here in Vallarta with the development of the Xiutla Folklorico dance group. You will meet at the Rio Cuale Cultural Center where the troupe has its office.  Here you will learn some of the history of folklorico, the different dances and costumes of the various Mexican states, and the founding of the troupe of 10-21 year old dancers who have competed throughout the world. We will then walk to Lazaro Cardenas Park in Old Town to enjoy the Xiutla demonstration of their works.
