Many well-known authors, song writers and screen writers have made their home in Vallarta. This is a tranquil place to write and consequently there is a very active Writers Group that meets every Saturday morning of the year. This is also the home of the annual Puerto Vallarta Writers Conference which draws speakers and workshop leaders from all over North and Central America. Meet your guide at the International Friendship Club in the heart of Old Town where you will get a brief introduction and the opportunity to meet some of the established writers and editors who are often there to read their works in progress.
