       Meet in front of the Presidencia Municipal (city hall) in the central plaza where your guide will begin this delightful walking tour of Old Vallarta. You will hear described the colorful evolution of Vallarta from sleepy fishing village to shipping center for the banana plantations and fishing industry to the tourist destination it is today. Along the way you will see numerous examples of typical Mexican architecture as you walk the charming cobblestone streets through the Zona Romantica and the historical Gringo Gulch. End with a short visit to the famous boutique hotel Hacienda San Angel, a group of old world villas, courtyards and reflecting pools with full views of the bay and Guadalupe Church. You will pass through several colonias and neighborhoods, each reflecting the daily life of Vallarta, ending up in back at the central plaza.
